Studying and Living in Finland LUT Alumni Experience by Aisulu Harjula

Haven’t heard in a while…

Hello dear readers!

Perhaps, as you have noticed this blog has not been updated since last summer.

It is true – I have been working as a project researcher, studying as a PhD student and at the same time I have been combining my researcher’s role at work with a new role of a mother of a little baby at home. Incredible, how I have managed it, huh! But that is why I could not stop for a moment to write another good post for you.

Now it is time for a change. My toddler is almost one year old, and I have more “free” time, more interesting content, and, most important, a will to continue writing this blog. I have mentioned time as “free” because indeed it is not anymore as free as it was before my baby was born. But I will dedicate it to continue writing this blog and share with you insights of studying, working and living in Finland.

The plan is to post two articles per months instead of three as it was before. Though, it is a good start again =)

See you soon!

Hi Aisulu! I am also a young mom with 1.5 year old and can fully relate to your current condition. Great to hear that you are back to blogging. I have read through some of your posts and find them very informative! You got me interested in Finland )) I am considering doing my Phd there. So I will keep exploring, I might ask you some questions later 😉 Hope you will have time to answer them.
